Beschreibung
UV cure station 1800 x 1500 mm
3.2 Operation
This machine is only intended for curing coating in windows on a trolley and sliding in/out of the cure chamber. The trolley can be slid in/out but is fixed to the machine. Curing the coating is done using UV light and temperature and for this, the door of the machine must be closed so that no UV light escapes.
Furthermore, this machine is meant for flash testing windows. This is done by putting a voltage on a window where the pixel in the window has to be activated.
This machine is only intended for processing products and other materials described in these instructions for use.
Global cycle:
- Windows are placed on the glass trolley and windows on the trolley are electrically connected.
- The operator presses the 2-hand control and checks whether all windows respond correctly.
- After a successful flash test, the glass trolley is pushed into the furnace by the operator.
- After inserting the glass trolley into the furnace, the door is automatically closed and the UV process chamber can be started.
- The HMI indicates when the process is complete.
- The glass trolley can be pulled out after completion of the process. The trolley can be moved in/out but is fixed to the machine.
The furnace can be heated up to 50°C. There is a danger of limb burns in this process. Wear heat-resistant safety gloves.
What Is a UV Curing Oven?
UV curing is a photochemical process that applies a cure of adhesives and coatings using the power of UV light. Originally invented to provide an alternative to solvent-based finishes, UV light sets instantly with far greater tensile strength than conventional methods. The reason it’s more effective is that a UV oven doesn’t heat or dry the finish but uses the lamps inside the oven to produce a certain frequency and distribution of light that hardens the cure.

This high-speed solvent-free process is an excellent tool for streamlining automation in the production of a wide variety of products, including electronics, graphic arts, medical devices, automotive parts, metal, glass, plastic and more.
